Subscribe to RFA’S 2026-2027 Season and Experience Inspiring Performances in a State-of-the-Art Venue.
The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts 33rd Annual On Stage Season features five performances, spanning genres from classical and Celtic folk to jazz fusion, country, and brass. Opening on September 26, 2026, the series will be held in the newly constructed, performance-level Lancaster High School Auditorium & Performing Arts Center. To purchase, subscribe online now or call the RFA office at 804-438-5555. After you subscribe, RFA will assign your priority seating at our new venue. After the September 26th show, contact the RFA office if you wish to select new seats from available options; otherwise, you will keep your initially assigned seats for the 2026-2027 season.
VIRGINIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: September 26, 2026
Doors open at 6:00 PM for a special pre-show discussion with Conductor Eric Jacobsen at 6:30 PM, where he'll share insights into the evening's program.
Known for their world-class symphonic performances, the VSO performs Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, and Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, with the possible addition of a portion of a newly commissioned work by American composer Phillip Glass. virginiasymphony.org
SOLAS: October 17, 2026
Hailed as “the finest Celtic ensemble this country has ever produced” and led by Séamus Egan, an Irish champion flautist and multi-instrumentalist, Solas plays Irish traditional music as well as original compositions influenced by Americana genres. SIX ONE FIVE COLLECTIVE: March 13, 2027
This Grammy-nominated, award-winning, all-American band is rooted in the heart of Nashville, having played the Grand Ole Opry stage.
